Our Design Team collectively has over 200 years of experience, and we love our craft.
Our Shoppe is a nesting place for new ideas and new techniques. We share the joy that comes from creating new pieces.
What better way to set ourselves apart from the thousands of merchants selling the same commercial products?
This page is about finding a way to share our experience with our web customers.

Here are a few examples that demonstrate how our process works. . . .
Customers call us, email us or stop by and present their idea, and then we sketch.
Then we brainstorm. . . playing with metal colors, size, ----- and come up with an estimate.
We often ask if you might have gold, broken chains, single earrings, and other items you just don't wear anymore.
If the gold has sentimental value, we preserve it, and by using your gold we can reduce your cost significantly!

How our process works, from start to finish.

Step 1: The first and most important piece is the idea, so start with a sketch

Custom Butterfly Pendant Sketch After a customer gets in contact with us, we will begin by creating a sketch.

Our sketches really are a fun way for us to get acquainted and put your ideas down on paper. All of our estimates will be based on the sketch.

Butterfly materials Step 2: Selection of Materials

Once we agree on the size and cost of the product we ask for a deposit before getting down to work (50%).

For this project we chose to use four different colors of 14kt gold to make the butterfly.

Yellow, White, Red, and Green.

Half Custom Butterlfy Pendant Step 3: We begin the fabrication process

We created one half of the butterfly. All the bending of the wires and molding was done by hand.

Custom Butterfly Pendant Step 4: We Finish the fabrication process

After the single side was perfect We cut it in half lengthwise. This made it so that the butterfly was symmetrical on both sides.

For this project we chose to use three different colors of 14kt gold for each letter in the monogram.

White, Red, and Green.

Step 3: We begin the fabrication process

Each of the different gold wires is meticulously bent by hand. This process can be quick or it can take hours depending on the complexity of the piece.

Step 4: We Finish the fabrication process

Once each individual letter is formed they are then joined together and given a final adjustment before they are soldered together to form the pendant.

Step 2: Sometimes one sketch is not enough

The previous sketch was revised/fine tuned and sent out to the customer again.

After that sketch was approved we decided on the materials that would be used.
Rose gold for the rails, and White gold for the dragon and center knotwork.

Step 3: We Create the ring

Due to the complexity and the detail involved in creation of the ring.
It was hand sculpted by one of our senior jewelers.

After the product was completed it was given a good polishing and was then shipped out to the customer.
